My name is Morgan Page and I am a graphic designer. I am also a creative in general.
I love graphic design in general. Typography is something that really interests me. I love to design book covers and simple ads for social media. I also think cards are fun to make and there are endless possibilities with them. I also love making wireframes and designing layouts for websites and apps.
I have always wanted to be an artist since I was little, I never told anyone because the “starving artist” was very real and society kind of looked down on artists in general. I have won a few art competitions in school and have been asked by teachers to design posters and other things for school events. In the beginning of college i kept stressing and freaking out over whether I should change my major or continue in science and i took a career quiz (even though i knew it was going to tell me i should be an artist) but this had a giant list of different careers and jobs and one was graphic design and there was user experience and user interface. I looked them up and took a mini course on UX/UI design from Google. I had to make an app and I absolutely fell in love with it. So I changed my major to graphic design and have never looked back.
I really thought about a career in graphic design the other day and I realized that I have not been so excited about something in a while. Especially since this is a long term dream and goal. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I know I am ready.
